Floodwater can hide washed-out pavement, debris and moving water that is deeper or faster than it looks.
Never drive around barricades or into a flooded roadway. If water is covering the road, turn around and choose another route.
Do not walk or swim through moving floodwater either. Follow evacuation instructions when they are issued and move to higher ground when necessary.
